Flygt's history begins in 1901 as a machine factory. The first submersible pump was produced in 1947 and at that time was one of the first manufacturers to dare to use a motor under water. Partly due to the innovation and takeover by ITT in 1968, Flygt became a global player in the field of (submersible) pumps.
Later in 2012, ITT would split into Xylem Water Solutions, which also includes the brands Lowara and the former Vogel pumps. Flygt is still part of this.
Wastewater is the number 1 application for which Flygt pumps are used, which is why these pumps are often found in pumping stations. In order to produce one of the better wastewater pumps, Xylem is constantly working on new developments within the market, electronics and the ever-increasing requirements.
Get to know Concertor. A fully integrated system that offers high operational flexibility and takes wastewater pumping technology to the next level. The name Concertor is based on the Latin word “concentãre”, which means working together in harmony.
The name refers to the system design that reduces your total costs over the life of your installation (LCC / TCO). While experiencing the highest quality and reliability.
A FULLY INTEGRATED SYSTEM
Flygt Concertor combines a fully integrated control system with IE4 motor efficiency, state-of-the-art N-hydraulics and intelligent functionality. Based on 60 years of experience in waste water pump technology.
A NEW WAY OF THINKING
By integrating a control system that automatically adapts to changing operating conditions, you are guaranteed optimum pump performance. All this while the total costs during the entire life of your installation (LCC / TCO) are significantly reduced.
The built-in intelligence makes it faster and easier to set up and operate the desired functionality. For which you would otherwise require an advanced monitoring & control system. We have achieved all this with a considerably smaller footprint.
The Flygt pumps are wear resistant and can be fitted with a vortex, channel and grinder impeller. The pump can also be equipped with a cooling jacket (for dry installation) and various pump protection devices, including a PTC, Klixon and Minicas.
These submersible pumps are also available in an Atex variant.
