Submersible drainage (DP) pumps cover a motor range of 0.9-2.6 kW. These pumps are equipped with a semi-open vane impeller that can pump solids up to 10mm in size.

AP(G) pumps are designed for pumping wastewater, sludge-containing water, groundwater and sewage. These pumps are equipped with a cutting system that cuts all destructible solids into small pieces.

These pumps have the suction and discharge openings on the same level. The pump head and housing are made of cast iron. All other wetted parts are stainless steel.

The SP series includes borehole submersible pumps and are designed for pumping groundwater. All pumps within this series are made of stainless steel and are available in 3 material grades. The pumps are suitable for borehole sizes of 4“ over 6” and 8“ to 10”. Motor sizes for the pumps are available in 0.37-250 kW.

1944: The company is founded in Bjerringbro as Bjerringbro Pressestøberi og Maskinfabrik (Bjerringbro Die-casting Foundry and Machine Factory) .

1967: The popular well pump series: SP is designed and produced in stainless steel.
1973: A big step in the global success of Grundfos, the company moves to the United States.
1976: Started producing its own motors.
1989: Grundfos is the first pump manufacturer in the world with ISO certification.
1990: A 'technology center' is opened, partly because of this the Danish company is still progressive.
1991: The 'Intelligent pump' is launched on the market.
2000: In the coming years, Grundfos will focus on digitizing pumps and add several innovative pumps to its range.
