Ruhrpumpen CPO Process Pumps: Versatile Performance According to ANSI/ASME B73.1

With over 30 hydraulic options, the CPO pump line is designed to meet and exceed ANSI/ASME B73.1 specifications. The open impeller design offers a wide range of application possibilities (including a low-flow option with the CPO-L model), delivering industry-leading low NPSHr performance and high efficiency.

The CPO pump is based on a modular design concept, allowing for multiple hydraulic configurations with a limited number of power frames. Additionally, these power frames are fully interchangeable with models from other commonly used ANSI pump manufacturers.

  •  Double-row angular contact thrust bearings minimize axial shaft movement for longer mechanical seal life

  •  Sturdy solid shaft with excellent L3/D4 ratio for low vibration and extended seal life (optional shaft sleeves available)

  •  INPRO VB45-STM labyrinth bearing isolators to prevent bearing contamination

CPO-L: Specially Designed for Low Flow, High Head Applications
The CPO-L is specifically designed to address the need for low flow within the CPO range. It features a radial impeller developed to reduce thrust and pressure in the seal chamber, a common challenge in low-flow applications. This pump also complies with the ANSI/ASME B73.1 standard.

In low-flow applications, minimizing radial load and potential shaft deflection issues is essential. The radial impeller and concentric pump casing of the Ruhrpumpen CPO-L are specifically engineered to address these challenges in low-flow or throttled operating conditions. The radial impeller with balance holes further reduces pressure in the seal chamber, leading to longer seal and bearing life and improved reliability.
